Photo VOICE COMPETITION

The PhotoVoice Competition is designed to highlight environmental justice issues affecting neighborhoods across Sacramento and empower community youth to identify solutions that work for them through the submission of photos detailing hazards or other concerns within the community. Through photography, this competition raises public awareness in the environmental justice areas and celebrates youth empowerment.

HEALTH IMPACTS & CREATIVE SUSTAINABILITY IN RACIAL JUSTICE MOVEMENTS

In January of 2024, Veritable Good organized a study of the mental and physical health impacts of working in the racial justice movement, interviewing advocates throughout California. Volition Gardens carries this work forward with the goal of operationalizing the solutions to advocate burnout identified in this report.
